The detained BirGün reporter İsmail Arı will be brought to the Ankara Courthouse from Sincan Prison, where he has been incarcerated on fabricated grounds, to stand before a judge for the first time tomorrow. Press professional organisations and intellectuals made a call for solidarity ahead of the hearing, declaring, "Journalism is not a crime."
