Tax on debt has overtaken tax on corporate income
The Banking and Insurance Transactions Tax (BSMV) is growing rapidly. Between the first half of 2023 and the same period in 2026, whilst Corporation Tax collected from companies rose by 186 per cent, BSMV revenue increased by 628 per cent.
