Muhabirimiz Kayhan Ayhan gözaltına alındı

Our correspondent Kayhan Ayhan, who has been covering the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) case since the first hearing, was taken into custody from his home late last night on charges of ‘spreading misleading information to the public’. Although all the questions put to Ayhan during his police interview related to his journalistic activities and his coverage of the trial, the investigation was launched by the Terrorism Crimes Investigation Bureau, and a post in support of our newspaper was also included in the investigation. Ayhan, who spent the night at Vatan Police Station, is due to be taken to court today.
