'Effective repentance' is completely ineffective
In yesterday's hearing of the IBB Case, advertising executive Vedat Şahin, who had previously benefited from effective repentance, withdrew his statement. Şahin’s lawyer, Muhittin Arık, spoke as follows: "My client was threatened through his wife. I am a personal witness to this."
