Children sacrificed for the sake of capital

The Vocational Education Centres (MESEMs), which Minister Tekin refuses to abandon, have turned into workplace homicide hubs where at least 20 children have died. In the unregulated industrial sector, with working hours reaching up to 15 hours a day, children are at the very heart of exploitation. Whilst a MESEM student states, "If I had the chance to go back to the past, I would not choose MESEM," a Ministry of National Education inspector noted, "The person responsible for all this lack of inspection is Minister Yusuf Tekin."
